The story of the movie revolves around two of the best police personals in California, Officer Taylor and Officer Zavala, during their patrol they pull a suspect over and they survive a dangerous attack, and they find a hefty sum of powerful weapons and jewelry, after a considerable amount of investigations, they find out the source of these weapons and jewelry, the source turns out to be a very dangerous drug cartel, and of course this will cause a lot of trouble for the two officers.

And this movie is different from what you can usually expect and get from such movies, as after the breakout the only sane persons who are left to live in the asylum are three slackers who have been working in the kitchen of the prison to make money. This movie premiered in the Toronto Film Festival and it was named The Incident, but then the film was re named to the name it has now, Asylum Blackout. This movie has Alexander Courtes as the director, his first directorial attempt. And has stars such as Kenny Doughy, Joseph Kennedy and Rupert Evans in its cast.

With the upcoming release of The Avengers on Blu-ray, Joss Whedon, the director spoke about some of his plans about that release. He stated that the Blu-ray edition of the movie will contain full thirty minutes of deleted scenes that will not be present at the normal edition of The Avengers. Despite the fact that the movie is about 2 hours and 20 minutes long, the original movie was about 3 hours, including the deleted scenes. Most of the deleted scenes involved Captain America.

This movie’s story events kicks off by having Loki, played byT Hiddleston finding his way back to the planet and he steals a source of alien energy called the Tesseract. With this power and energy he threatens to control earth and its human population, accompanied with the power of his alien army that is called the Chitauri. Then we see Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson who is the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D, a secret government organization deciding to take on the task to make a powerful team of superheroes in order to destroy Loki and his army and prevent him from controlling and enslaving the human race, the team will be called The Avengers. Instead of just making an uneven mix of superheroes, or focusing solely one super hero, the director and writer of the movie, Joss Whedon made a very balanced movie, despite the great amount of characters and superheroes present. Each superhero has his own character and his own storyline arc to go with, and of course, each one gets his own action scenes. As we see how Iron Man still struggling with his ego and the way he is self-centered. We see how Captain America is having quite a hardship trying to fit in with the modern world and The Hulk still fearing his powerful abilities and of course Thor’s guilt towards the death of his brother. Even Hawkeye and Black Widow who were always underused have their own arcs and have powerful effects on the story.

All Marvel movies have somehow small scaled action scenes, and The Avengers is a whole other story, it brings everything big and compensates for the lack of action sequences in the previous Marvel movies. So all in all, it is a movie worth watching, and it is definitely recommendable.

The chain of events is normal and it could have happened to a lot of us, Tom and Violet get engaged, and it is supposed to be a one year plan, but then Violet gets a grad program in Michigan, so they have to move out to Ann Arbor. Then we see things starting to fall about between them as she get tangled up in her program and work while Tom is stuck doing shitty jobs. The movie is going good until the second part where all the viewers are depressed from Michigan seeing how Tom hates it and how much he got depressed with the way his life with his fiancée is going.

The best parts of the movie were the ones played by Tom’s best friend, played by Chris Pratt and Violet’s sister played by Alison Brie. These two, the best friend of the groom and the sister of the bride start a relationship early and they begin to become the model of a happy life that Tom and Violet could have had if they managed to do things the right way. Matter of fact, this couple, despite not being the main couple, made everyone wish they were. Everyone who watched the movie would have wanted this couple to have more air time on the movie than Tom and Violet. And when it comes to the most dragged scene of the movie it has to be the wedding scene, it felt like this scene would never end.

Then the story continues as we see The Pirate Captain along his crew accidently raiding the Beagle that has Charles Darwin on board, and he quickly discovers that Polly the parrot is not actually a parrot, but it is the last dodo on earth. Of course he can’t let such thing go without taking any action, so he starts to convince The Pirate Captain to let him present Polly in the scientific exhibit in London to win the prize so he can win the Pirate of the Year competition. Despite the many objections from his crew, he goes through with it. This exhibition will make him go face to face with Queen Victoria, the energetic queen who is known for her hate for pirates. Of course all of this result in a great amount of jokes and gags and funny adventures a lot the way.

The amazing thing about this is the high attention to details that made the people at Aardman Animation shows off at nearly every scene, starting from the signage in the streets of London, the weird and exotic items at Darwin’s place to the reactions of the scientists at the scientific exhibition. As a result of the details of all of this, it made the audience feel that the world is real. Of course the 3D definitely added to the fun and the details of the film. And it helped with the sight gags, like the pirate flag and the extra flag that has eyes popping out of it. All in all, the movie was great, filled with great moments and greater lessons, and it really utilized everything the studio had, definitely worth seeing.

Mel Gibson who has been in the spotlight for his anti-sematic rants, instead of laying low away from the public, he decided to join the cast of Robert Rodriguez’s latest movie, Machete Kills. According to reports and sources, Robert Rodriguez has been planning for Michelle Williams to star the movie with Mel Gibson. Although, there are little hope for Michelle Williams to join the cast, but Rodriguez seems set on getting Gibson to join the cast, despite of his reputation.

Robert Rodriguez believes that this casting is risky and dangerous, it is basically a stunt casting, but it kind of fits the aesthetic of the grindhouse, but does this stunt worth the risk. Come to think of it, Mel Gibson is troubled and has a lot of publicity problems, but he can also be a source of distraction and can even become a burden to the movie and its cast.

The story involves a single mother played by Regina Hall who is always upfront about everything with her boy played by Terrance J. and there is a disappointed girlfriend played by Gabrielle Union who is doing some changes in the décor of her house despite her boyfriend’s objections, her boyfriend is played by Jerry Ferrara. There another single girl played by Meagan Good, this girl makes a weird decision, as she decides that she has to wait 3 months before she lets her boyfriend, played by Romany Malco get the cookie, and of course it is PG-13, so we all know what does that mean.

All in all, the movie deserved some credit it is very funny at a lot of times, a lot of jabs and jokes between the guys. As for the director, he is the same director who made the amazing movie BarberShop and then did the Fantastic Four movies; the director is none other than Tim Story. When the movie first starts, two actors take jabs as Tyler Perry movies which makes them look like lame romantic comedies. And if the melodramatic tales by Tyler Perry is the only type of African American relationship in movies nowadays, the type where no real love can be discovered without being put through hardship and pain. Then Think Like A Man is really something different and unique.

Doing the same as other Disney narratives, such as The Lion king or Bambi, it felt very true, and it choose a very young Chimpanzee named Oscar to be its hero. He lives in a jungle form the jungles of Africa, although they never mentioned it, but they mentioned Ugandan and Ivory Coats crews on the credits, which indicates that it was shot in the jungles of Africa. He lives with a pack of chimpanzees, a 35 chimps’ pack.

In this Disney documentary we learn a lot about the habits and rituals of the chimpanzees, such as the playtime and the grooming rituals, all of this is learn through following Oscar the young chimp. It also presents the viewers with a very power relation between Isha, Oscar’s mother and Oscar. She teaches him his way in life, how to crack nuts and how to hunt for berries and other vital lessons that every chimp should learn. And in the end, we see a gang war between the two crews, Oscar’s crew and the rival group led by a chimpanzee called Scar who is followed by a group of bully chimps.

So we have a rivalry between two gangs, Scar and his thugs versus Oscar’s gang, and by the looks of it, judging form the bond and strong relation that Oscar has with his mother Isha, it indicated that Oscar will grow up as a soft chimp, not an aggressive powerful one. All of his happened while havingTim Allen narrating it all, which was a little jokey, but it can be accepted because kids tend to like his narration. Although some times when he starts to use a menacing tone when referring to the rivalry and Scar, it kills any sense of aestheticism about the chimpanzees. Despite that, the camera and photography works cover all of this and makes up for it. Then we are introduced with another twist that results in a very surprising yet powerful bond between Oscar and another chimpanzee in his crew. All in all, it is very acceptable, some tacky stuff, but the story, the camera work and the bonds that we get to see between different chimps makes it worth watching. Good job Disney.

But not for long it seems, as according to reports and sources she is rumored to have landed a role in the blockbuster Iron Man franchise in its latest movie, Iron Man 3. She is to play the role of an attractive female scientist who is as smart and as witty as Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr. Although she was the very first choice for playing that role, but she has been having some problems managing her time schedule, this caused the studio to look for alternatives, and this alternative were Gemma Arterton, Isla Fisher and Diane Kruger and others. But fortunately for her, her time schedule seems to have emptied a bit, her schedule includes the Osama Bin Laden movie. But now she has time for the blockbuster Iron Man 3 which is planned to start in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The Iron Man 3 cast would include Jessica Chastain while having the villain being Ben Kingsley and playing the role of an expert geneticist is none other than Guy Pearce. There are thoughts that Guy Pearce and Jessica Chastain are going to be working side by side as they are both scientists.
