Clumsily combining comedy and serious act together with ridiculous action scenes, the movie has Meyers as James Reese, who is working as a career diplomat in the embassy and also doubles as a low level CIA agent. He is living his life in full with his girl friend (Kasia Smutniak). Everything goes out of hand when he handles his first important mission and joins forces with Charlie Wax (Travolta). As the trigger crazy Wax guides him on a succession of nerve-racking pursuits and come across numerous international criminals, James quickly finds out that the victim they all pursue is him. Notwithstanding the uneasiness, he realizes that he really needs the help of Wax to save him. The plans of these evil forces were left ambiguous and by that time you would not be bothered.

Pierre Morel had definitely a hard time to direct this movie from the nebulous screen script by Adi Hask. He is very good in action scenes, but devoid of any powerful central character, ‘From Paris with Love’ has nothing to be cheered about. It is definitely enjoyable to watch it as a travelogue of illustrious locations like the spectacular view of Eiffel Tower.

Travolta is naturally good as the gun trotting Charlie Wax and has numerous humorous lines to his credit and has all the required character traits you anticipate in such films. He is nicely teamed up with Meyers and he portrayed the ingenuous Reese almost perfectly, but the uniqueness you expect of this nondescript person is absent. Smutniak is quite gorgeous but her character challenges credibility as it tag along. The other actors are all basic and undeveloped.

The spectators can do much worse than watch this blustery and vicious idler of a movie. Travolta too is wasted in this mishmash.

Kristen Bell acts as the curator of an art museum, disenchanted in love matters, who gets more than she anticipates on her journey to Rome for attending the marriage of her sister. There, she runs into the good-looking and charismatic reporter Nick (Josh Duhamel). What appears to be budding romance in her life turned out to be convoluted when she erroneously thinks she has a glimpse of him kissing a girl, and in distress snatches coins from the ‘fountain of love’ rather than hurling them in. She immediately discovers that she is the object of love of eccentric foursome, who actually tossed the coins she gets hold of from the fountain and whose romantic yearning gets rekindled due to her impulsive act. With this foursome on her back, Nick too resolves to follow her, though Beth is unsure if he follows out of genuine love or she accidently has in her possession one of his coins too.

This fragile and fanciful plot continues an utterly obvious path, but serves as a platform for some cheerful fun with a mixed bag of actors presenting their humorous act. Prominent amongst the pursuers are Danny De Vito as the besotted sausage king, Jon Heder as the ludicrous street conjurer, Will Arnett as an ardent painter and the comedian Dax Shepard as the wholly outgoing, aspiring male model.

The movie flutters to and from between their private objectives and her feeble bond with Nick who is unaware of the real reason for her sudden lose of interest in him, when everything has been in perfect order. Duhamel demonstrates his talent for comedy and his scenes with Bell assumes an engaging eccentric excellence rarely apparent in this type of romantic comedy. Heder, Arnett and De Vito makes you laugh, but Shepard outshines everyone else with his egotistical pranks. Even though all of them are a little inflated, in the final reckoning, they all appear to be loveable characters. Supporting cast include Anjelica Huston as the chief of the museum, Alexis Dziena shines as Beth’s sister and Peggy Lipton has a brief role as her mother.

Director of the movie, Mark Steven effectively comes back to his lineage for comedy and provides the screenplay of David & David with pleasant and humorous touches. The movie, ‘When in Rome’ is finally only a trifle and with no competition in this genus, it will be enormously appreciated and will make the cash box tinkling.

Olly discovers that not only does Chris has gay feelings too, but is more comfortable with them than he is. They embark on a searing quest through Soho’s gay community to help Chris loose his virginity. But no-one has more to hide than oldest brother Pete. He’s being stalked by Carol, a timid old lady looking for her son – a guy Pete knew from his violent drug days. Fearfully Pete opens his frozen heart to Carol and they begin a treacherous journey to the woods to find her lost son. By the end, each lost soul finds a solution in darkness or in light. Connections are made or missed and longed-for families brought together for a moment of hope.

The film follows Alex, Max, Justin and their parents on a trip to the Caribbean. Alex is upset that her parents are telling her what to do despite being sixteen years old. When her parents confiscate her wand, and she gets in a fight with her mother, she wishes her parents had never met. This in turn causes her wish to come true, and her parents forget about each other and about their kids Alex, Max, and Justin. Justin figures his father must still have his powers since his dad and mom had never met and asks his father, who has no recollection of Justin and just regards him as a random tourist and wizard on what to do about the situation, he tells him that they must find the Stone Of Dreams, a magical stone that can reverse any spell and grant any wish. Justin and Alex then embark on a journey to find the Stone Of Dreams along with a not so great street magician and his parrot who have their own plans for the Stone Of Dreams. Meanwhile, Max scrambles to keep his parents from making mistakes that would further endanger the family’s future while also trying to make his parents fall in love again.

After failing to qualify for the 1974 World Cup, England manager Alf Ramsey is sacked and replaced by Don Revie, the highly successful manager of Leeds United. Revie is replaced at Leeds by Brian Clough, a former manager of Derby County and a fierce critic of Leeds’s style of play under Revie. Much attention is called to the fact that Clough’s longtime assistant, Peter Taylor has not joined him at Leeds, and Clough claims in an interview to Yorkshire Television that the team cannot possibly have been happy under Revie, due to the violent and physical nature of their game.
