Justin long has rendered his voice for Alvin, Mathew Grey Gubler for Simon and Jessy McCartney has rendered voice for Theodore and these three perform together at the concert. Dave Seville (Jason Lee) is the caretaker of the Chipmunks, gets injured and finally admitted to the hospital for the mistake committed by Alvin who accidentally does it. The Chipmunks live with Dave’s Cousin for the time being who is obsessed with his videogame as they commit another accident involving Dave’s wheel chair bound aunt. He joins them in a high school where they find it hard with the bullying of the Jocks. Dr.Rubin (Wendie Malick) is the principal of the school who has lot of interest in Music and lets the Chipmunk group compete for the school with cash prize money of $25,000 that would help in reviving the School’s Music.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel

The Chipmunks do not have a clue that the Chipettes, Brittany (voice of Christina Applegate), Eleanor (voice of Amy Poehler) and Jeanette (voice of Anna Faris), are about to enroll in the school as well and compete against them while under the guidance of the Chipmunks’ former agent, Ian (David Cross). The sequel of this movie is very good and the fans will be given a treat with all the humour and fun they are going to have while watching it. The adults are bound to be not surprised but definitely will not get bored while the kids are sure to enjoy each and every moment of the movie. The scenes involving Ian, who acted as the villain in this movie may make adults roll the eyes with the silliness they have depicted on screen but he kinds are sure to enjoy as they overlook the flaws and look for humour in any form. Jon Vitti, Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger are the co-screen writers for this movie and have intelligently included one-liners to the Chipmunks that make this movie very enjoyable and interesting. The Director who is the captain of the ship, Betty Thomas keeps the momentum and pace going in this movie and includes a very good music track that will hardly make the viewers get bored at any moment. He has also previously directed Dr. Dolittle and The Brady Bunch Movie that are very family friendly like this flick. One can also witness an additional scene after the end credits and is a must watch scene. The movie runs for a time of 89 minutes, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel undoubtedly manages to be enjoyable, diverting and harmless movie with some forgivably silly fun that will keep the kids raise with laughter and adults awake and mostly amused.
