Review : Did You Hear About the Morgans
Form the chart of the Jeopardy list, they will have to strike “Hugh Grant westerns”. His Royal Hughness is found rove ring around in a saddle rather than the loafers with his cowboy hat and wears a plaid shirt with buttons that are metal. Meryl (Sarah Jessica Parker), a luxury real estate broker and Paul (Grant), a Manhattan lawyer, are married for a while. Paul cheats her and requests her to forgive but she does not like him. Inspite of that, they are forced to reunite and move to Wyoming in a deal where they are witness to a murder. As the killer is trying to track their movements, they plan to dis appear to a community place – “Green Acres” meets “My Blue Heaven” – Hugh was almost being killed with embarrassment and Parker discovers that hoedown is actually meant something else rather than depression of Samantha.

Sal is another New Yorker in “Dog Day Afternoon” wishes to move to foreign place like Wyoming. But Hugh and Jessica are very poorly acquainted with their new homeland. Jessica is thrilled to know that sweaters are for $9.99 and Paul searches for men’s wear. Wifrow Brimley come sin to tell Paul that he is a tea drinker and Meryl wonders if there are any Democrats in town and looks like a sly little girl who pops up. There are many hick jokes and calm rhythms of rural life in this movie. The Sarah Palin Joke in the movie is worth the price of your ticket for most New Yorkers. It was wonderful to see Sam Elliot, the Marshal and crack- shot bride Mary Steenburgen to see teaching riflery to Paul who can’t manage the recoil in his shoulder that is very delicate. The Palm Beach Story is completely deft with both as only jokes that really matter with Lawrence trying to deliver a Bargain Barn version of Preston Sturges. The whole cast of the movie have been in best shape and form and that clearly shows up in the screen. Though Grant hasn’t been in the best of form since his “Love Actually”, he is back to silver screen with a bang and has been great in his comeback vehicle. He can be referred as the prime minister of this wonderful comedy. Marc Lawrence who has failed before in showing Grant from being defeated in front of Drew Barry more for his movie “Music & Lyrics” dealt an almost resembling plot like wincing husband, the city and country and a wife who is unamused. It is really splendid to forgive him for the unfunny “American Dreamz” as he was so brilliant.
